M&M Supply are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher, in Weston Super Mare, for the summer term, this job will be full time Monday - Friday.

The school works with both Primary and Secondary aged children, with specific conditions such as ADHD, SCLN and ASC.

This role will be mainly teaching ICT and Maths, which will be at entry level.

There will be some other lessons which include 1:1 reading, PHSE and spelling and grammar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for students with SEND.
  • Assess individual learning needs and create personalized learning plans.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external specialists.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student learning and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) guidelines.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEND teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, or complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching methods and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for inclusive education.
