We have an exciting opportunity for a CCTV & ANPR Engineer to join our team! This is a full-time permanent position based at our workshop in Weston-Super-Mare. The role will also include some frequent travel to different sites.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Full UK Driving License plus full training will be provided on all company bespoke products and solutions.

The Mobile Enforcement Vehicle and Workshop Engineer is a crucial member of our workshop team, responsible for assembling, configuring, and maintaining our bespoke mobile and fixed enforcement solutions. This role involves supporting workshop activities, managing stock, handling Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes, and performing site visits to ensure optimal performance.

What you will be doing:

  • Assemble and configure company products according to detailed specifications.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all products meet functional and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting during product configuration.
  • Perform site visits to support mobile and fixed enforcement solutions, addressing product issues as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, interacting with clients and corporate partners to resolve technical issues.
  • Vehicle/Product movements to and from clients, may involve arranging third parties, transporting vehicles (towing) directly. Driver training will be provided.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for production and support activities.
  • Maintain accurate records for equipment check-in/check-out and support audit processes.
  • Manage RMA requests, diagnose product issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain detailed records of RMA cases and report trends to the Product Owner for continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a workshop or technical support role.
  • Experience in automotive or electronic engineering.
  • Certifications in product support, technical engineering, or related fields.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Certifications in health and safety are highly desirable.
  • Professional qualifications in fleet management or transport operations are advantageous.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in operational management or related fields.
