Job Advert: Vehicle Technician

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Salary: 30,000 - 36,500 (depending on experience) + Bonuses & Overtime

Alecto Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with an estbalsihed Main Dealer in Weston-Super-Mare to find a skilled Vehicle Technician. Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups.
Accurately identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Maintain clear and detailed records of all service and repair work performed.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers, providing updates and explanations as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with automotive technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong background in servicing and repairing vehicles.
Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving license is essential.
