Our client is a renowned nationwide leader in the construction and facilities management industry. Established in 1996, they have grown significantly and secured multiple blue-chip contracts due to their outstanding reputation.

They are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Trades Person to join their team in the Weston-Super-Mare area, working on a major blue-chip retail / hotel contracts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Multi Skilled / Plumber will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of Fabric Technician duties, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance tasks. The role requires a customer-focused approach, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards and within safety guidelines.

KEY REPSONSIBLITIES

Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks, from basic plumbing to maintenance to building fabric of the building. Multi-skilled role so a handy man who has relevant experience within a similar setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working within commercial contracts carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on a multiple commercial contracts.

You will be responsible for maintaining several different buildings with carpentry, roofing and general multi trade skills.

Ideally someone with experience with one or more of the following:

Carpenter & Joiner

Plumber

Multi skill maintenance

Builder was self employed.

Experience in the FM, retail or public building sectors is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with clients.

A flexible, proactive and customer-focused approach to your work.

A full UK driving licence, as driving is required for the role, due to the reactive nature of the works.

Ensure all work is executed safely and to the highest standard.

Maintain accurate records of all tasks performed.

Participate in an on-call rota.

Deliver exceptional customer service.

Maintain a presentable, courteous, and helpful demeanour always.

Manage workload effectively and prioritize tasks.

Flexibility to work out of hours when required.
