Are you ready to drive excellence in automotive manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Section Leader to join our clients team at MDE Group a dynamic Tier 2 supplier in the automotive industry.

Job Details for Section Leader: 

-  Monday to Friday

-  37 Hours a week

-  07:30am - 17:15pm (Mon-Thurs)

-  07-30am - 17:15pm (Fridays)

-  Based on site in Weston - Super - Mare

About the Role

As a Section Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our manufacturing operations. Leading a team of dedicated production associates, you will oversee daily operations, implement process improvements, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality automotive components that meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of operators to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.

- Production Management: Oversee workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operations.

- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits.

- Reporting: Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and communicate performance metrics to management.

- Problem-Solving: Address production challenges quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).

- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best.
