The Company

My client is a business based just outside Wetherby looking for a Company Accountant to join the team and take ownership of all accounting month end duties for the division. The business is in a position which will see the successful applicant encouraged to progress quickly and take on more responsibilities. They are also willing to consider full-time hour or part-time hours.

The Role

This role will see the post holder contribute to the production of the financial reporting for the business. This role will also involve the successful candidate producing business analysis for use by the Senior Management team. You will have ownership of all financial aspects, anything from payroll, month end, project accounting to transactional finance.

In order to be considered for this role you must:

  • Be ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or have experience running finance in an SME
  • Have proven business partnering experience.
  • Have proven experience of producing the monthly management accounts.
  • Have a strong commercial awareness and an interest to develop this further
  • Have good IT skills including Excel
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate financial information to non finance management
