About the Role:My client is seeking a experienced and highly motivated Interim Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a supportive team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests.
  • Bank reconciliations and raising bank payments and investor refunds.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and raising sales invoices.
  • Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements.
  • Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review.
  • Assist with the Company's annual audit.

  • Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based reporting.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Xero and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ideally, L4 AAT
