My client is a specialist controls and automation solutions provider, with an excellent for delivery of unrivalled systems to the manufacturing marketplace. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the electrical control’s knowledge already within their current team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely secure group, with a well-respected organisation.

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias (but multi-skilled) and have manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day installations, commissioning and engineering activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, for the customer. You will have worked on PLC systems, from a programming point of view, utilising Siemens, Mitsubishis and Omron, also, Servo Drives and electric motors, from an automation and controls perspective. The role will be 50% field based covering Lancashire & Yorkshire, and 50% projects based, at site in Wetherby. There is a huge amount of variety and training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
