This is a permanent role with excellent work life balance shifts of 4 days a week working between Monday and Friday 37.5 hours per week, with hours worked between the hours of 7am and 7pm (flexibility required for occasional Saturday working)
You will help to ensure that all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the hospital.
To apply for this Scrub Nurse position, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN) / ODP Practitioner with current NMC PIN or HCPC Registration. You will have experience working within a theatre team, and ideally have ophthalmic experience.
Additional Requirements include:
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- At least 24 months theatre experience post registration within a hospital or clinic setting.
- Passion for high-quality patient-centred care
- Quick thinking with the ability to solve problems under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day to day running of the ophthalmic theatre to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient flow of the theatre pathway.
- You will provide excellent care to all patients, with specific responsibility for theatres and the patient flow through the department, in line with departmental policies, practice standards, regulation and governance to provide high quality, cost effective care that puts the patient first at all times.
