Our client is a trusted accountancy and business advisory firm in Wetherby, supporting businesses since 1997. They provide expert bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and financial guidance to help clients improve cash flow and profitability.

Overview


Our client is seeking a highly organised and hard-working person who enjoys working within a small team. The ideal candidate will be motivated and proactive and have excellent customer service skills. This role is pivotal in maintaining a productive work environment and supporting the team in achieving their goals. You must possess a can-do attitude and be willing to undertake an array of different tasks as required.

Responsibilities but not limited to:-

  • Deal with day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
  • Client onboarding, AML checks (training provided)
  • Client admin, including filing client confirmation statements at Companies House
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring company practice management software is kept up to date.
  • Handle phone calls professionally, addressing enquiries and directing calls appropriately. Welcome clients when they attend office meetings.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for team members as required.
  • Assist in financial management tasks using Xero for invoicing/credit control
  • Help implement systems & processes, including new software, to improve office efficiency and productivity.

Skills

  • Strong phone etiquette with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in clerical tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
  • Highly organised with a positive attitude
