Job Overview:

We are recruiting a HR Advisor to join our client's thriving organisation. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to managers, ensuring alignment with the company's HR strategy. You will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve various HR-related enquiries across the business.
  • Offer informed and practical advice to management teams on HR matters.
  • Assist managers with recruitment processes, ensuring the selection of top talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Manage employee work reviews and coordinate necessary changes.
  • Identify and address development needs and opportunities within the organisation.
  • Manage staff relationships, addressing queries and concerns to meet expectations.
  • Assist the HR Manager in monitoring and revising company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for disciplinary actions and grievance processes.
  • Support the implementation of absence management procedures.
  • Oversee the Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) process.
  • Assist with preparing for and ensuring compliance during external audits.
  • Input data for new starters, contract changes, and absences into the HR payroll system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HR advisory role.
  • CIPD qualification is preferred.
  • Ability to introduce new ideas and innovations to the business.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
