Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join a fantastic and reputable business, based in Wetherby.
We're looking for an energetic, driven individual who is passionate about continuous improvement and looking to take ownership of their own projects and make a real impact. This role will give you the opportunity to lead change initiatives and support the development of a culture focused on ongoing improvement across the business.
Day to day duties:
- Lead and drive the Lean improvement journey, helping the business develop its processes and people towards a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work across all areas of the business to create meaningful, long-lasting change.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance data and systems that support performance monitoring.
- Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and generate actionable solutions.
- Coach and support teams in Root Cause Analysis and practical problem-solving.
- Lead teams to implement corrective and preventative actions when issues arise.
- Create and update documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and standard work.
- Ensure improvement activities are sustained through regular follow-up and process confirmation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a Continuous Improvement (CI) role.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time well, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues.
- A motivated team player who can inspire trust and encourage collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with people at all levels.
- Ability to manage and influence groups and individuals, presenting ideas clearly and confidently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work.
- Understanding of quality standards like ISO9001 is desirable.
