I am currently supporting large manufacturing business in recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Management Accountant and wider finance team. The role comes at an exciting time for the company as they are going full steam ahead with growth plans meaning opportunities will be coming up down the line. Duties for the role include:
- Support the management accountant in preparing monthly reports
- Assist with organizational budgeting and financial forecasting
- Generate ad hoc reports for budget holders to present to funders
- Handle month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations
- Provide budget holders with clear and customer-friendly financial guidance
- Assist with various financial accounting tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and reporting obligations
- Regularly compile financial reports and share insights with the finance team
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
