Daniel Owen have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a thriving family-run business engaged in a diverse range of sectors including health care, education, offices and leisure centres.

You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of Building Services Engineers and Architects in supporting the businesses vision of innovation.

In this modern office environment, you'll be part of a friendly team of engineers from various sectors. Your responsibilities will include completing designs and drawings using CAD and BIM software, as well as assisting engineers of all levels with their design tasks. The fast-paced atmosphere will require you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and if you are developing your skills in Revit, your Contracts Manager & Project Manager will be on hand to help.

Is this you:

To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of experience using Revit or BIM and AutoCAD. This position is based in West Yorkshire, and you will be required to work in the office five days a week, however as the role develops hybrid working can become available.

You must have MEP experience, a clear understanding of clash detection and building co-ordination. Examples of conversations around these factors with 3rd party clients will be advantageous.

You must have experience working with Tier 1, 2, or 3 contractors.

This is not a structural role, however having knowledge of building regulations would be useful. A product design background is desirable.
