We are seeking a qualified and NMC-registered nurse to join the team. This is an ongoing, part-time role, working 20 hours per week across five days. The position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialist health care support in an educational setting.

Requirements- Qualified Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experience in paediatric, school, or community nursing is desirable
- Strong knowledge of first aid procedures, medication management, and safeguarding protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support students, staff, and parents
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to medical situations
- If returning to practice, completion of a Return to Practice course may be required
- Eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship)
- Possess an Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one through Randstad.
- Understanding of working with children with additional needs (experience with deaf or SEND students is beneficial but not essential)
- Provide first aid, medical care, and ongoing health support to students and staff
- Manage and administer prescribed medications in accordance with medical plans
- Support students with chronic health conditions, allergies, and additional medical needs
- Monitor and respond to medical emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Work closely with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure students' well-being
- Maintain up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Offer health education and advice to students, promoting overall well-being
- Ensure safeguarding policies are upheld and liaise with external health professionals when needed
