Our client is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. Whether youre a Trainee QS eager to take the next step or an experienced Assistant QS looking to develop your skills, this role offers the perfect platform to build your future.

Your Mission:

  • Support Senior Quantity Surveyors in managing budgets, subcontractors, and tender processes.
  • Play a key role in delivering high-quality, beautiful homes on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

Youll gain exposure to every stage of the housebuilding process, supporting the team in:

  • Preparing and managing subcontractor packages.
  • Monitoring budgets and costs throughout build programs.
  • Collaborating with supply chains to meet quality and time targets.
  • Attending meetings to ensure seamless communication across teams.
What Youll Bring to the Team
  • Experience: Some experience in housebuilding or construction is ideal, but drive and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Tools: Experience with COINS software is a bonus but not required.
  • Mobility: A full, clean driving license.
