Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Housebuilding Experience)
Location: Wetherby, UK
Salary: Circa 65,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + 1 Day a Week Work from Home
My client is a well-established housebuilding company based in Wetherby, and they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven track record in the residential construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all costs relating to residential building projects from initial estimates to final accounts.
- Overseeing the financial and contractual management of multiple projects.
- Liaising with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and manage variations.
- Working closely with the commercial and project teams to maximise project profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, particularly in the housebuilding sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
