Triton Recruitment are working with a large food manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.

We are looking for a real go getter and someone who can implement changes in a dynamic environment.

The company are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience as a shift manager within a food factory.

This is a nights position.

Overall Job Purpose: To lead the shift team in the safe and efficient manufacture of products, that meet all customer and food safety standards as put in place by the business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safety and food safety leadership to the team

Ensure all products meet & customer technical & quality requirements.

Effective planning and organisation

Gap analysis and training provision for staff

Ensure suitable resources are recruited trained and allocated to all tasks.

Update plans, ensure the business is running to the plan, and take actions to correct anomalies.

Makes recommendations for improvement to process, equipment, training and documentation
