We are seeking a Maths Cover Tutor for the Offender Learning Sector in the Wetherby area. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a significant impact on the lives of learners, helping them improve not only their own lives but also those of their families and their local community.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards.
- Work on-site to provide education that is in line with policies and procedures.
- Support both learners and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all involved in the sector.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Minimum Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven track record of effective teaching in Maths.
- Ability to gain, hold, and maintain a clean, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
