We are currently working with a specialist school for young people with diverse learning needs in the Wetherby area who are seeking a highly qualified full time Speech & Language Therapist to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you will play a key role in helping learners reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver personalised speech and language therapy sessions for their caseload.
- Collaborate with other therapists, teachers, learning support assistants, and care staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing valuable insights to guide their learning journey.
- Offer recommendations and guidance to parents/carers, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and effective approach to supporting students' communication development.
- Maintain detailed case records in line with school policies and professional guidelines.
- Stay current with the latest clinical research and best practices in speech and language therapy.
- Contribute to the supervision and training of aspiring Speech & Language Therapists.
- Be an active participant in school-wide training sessions, meetings, and annual reviews.
