We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our team in the Offender Learning Sector. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the lives of others, helping them improve their literacy skills and contribute positively to their communities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in Maths to meet contractual requirements and standards.
- Ensure teaching strategies and resources meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners to maximise their progress and attainment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of learner progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Full teaching qualification (Minimum of CTLLS) or PGCE.
- Experience in teaching whether in primary education or adult learning.
- A genuine interest in the rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
