Role of Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant you will work across all our brands to maintain financial records and ledgers on a day-to-day basis. You will report directly to our finance director and have weekly meetings to review reports of all companies.

You will need to have first-rate numerical skills and be able to work accurately and to deadlines. You should be comfortable liaising with clients and suppliers. You will have experience in a similar role and be experienced in the use of Xero or equivalent.

Job description

路 Managing invoices & payments

路 Processing around 70 invoices daily

路 Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions

路 Balancing accounts on a regular basis

路 Liaising with clients, suppliers, and others

路 Working closely with our external accountancy firm where required

路 Managing & filing relevant documentation

路 General administration

What are we looking for?

路 Be experienced in the use of Xero - although full training will be provided if necessary

路 Possess first-rate numerical skills

路 Be highly computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)

路 Able to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines

路 Be logical and methodical

路 Experience in a similar role is required
