Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant – Weybridge

TPF Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading and rapidly growing accountancy practice based in Weybridge, looking to recruit a permanent, full-time Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant. This exciting opportunity will offer the successful candidate the chance to work with a varied portfolio of clients within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to assist in managing the bookkeeping requirements for a broad range of clients. This role is based in the office and will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Performing complex bookkeeping tasks for a range of clients across various industries
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of working with limited companies
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships, handling ad-hoc queries, and providing excellent customer service
Requirements

What We Are Looking For: To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accountancy practice or accounts department within a UK-based organisation
  • Extensive knowledge of Xero is essential; additional experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • Strong initiative, along with the ability to delegate tasks and support the development of junior staff members
  • Impeccable attention to detail and effective time management skills
