Our client, a well-established chartered accountancy firm, is seeking a talented Bookkeeper for their Weybridge office, either full or part time, with hybrid working. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are keen to handle a diverse range of tasks for owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Develop and manage financial reports including monthly management accounts (10% of the role).
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial transaction records.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Offer financial support and advice to management.

About You:

  • AAT/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping within a UK practice.
  • A strong knowledge of Xero is essential ; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and adept at client interactions.
  • Based locally to Weybridge,
