Overview:

We are supporting a leading tech company in their search for a Dynamics 365 Consultant to spearhead the digital transformation of their Finance and Operations tech stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the current systems in place, assessing the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations), and making recommendations to optimise business processes. You'll play a key role in preparing the organisation operationally for a successful deployment and ensuring a smooth migration from the legacy finance system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Review: Conduct an in-depth analysis of the existing finance and operations systems, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tech Landscape: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 but also considering other market options.
  • Best Practice: Provide guidance on industry best practices for digital transformation, especially within finance operations.
  • Operational Readiness: Develop a roadmap to ensure the business is operationally ready for technology deployment, considering change management and process optimisation.
  • Migration Support: Plan and assist with the migration from the legacy finance system, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across finance, IT, and operations to align the project with business needs.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential, particularly in finance modules, such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, and Budgeting.
  • Digital Transformation Experience: Proven track record in leading or contributing to digital transformation projects, particularly in finance and operations.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of finance operations and systems, and the ability to translate technical solutions into business improvements.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Migration Expertise: Experience with system migrations, data mapping, and ensuring seamless transitions between legacy and new systems.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent understanding of finance models within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach to complex challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, from technical staff to finance leaders.
