Job description

Night shifts start between 23:00 - 00:00

8 to 10 hour shifts

5 days out of 7 must be able to work Friday and Sunday

Must haves:

  • Have a full UK C & E category driving licence.
  • Have a UK digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence and no bans.
  • Must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
  • Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems.
  • Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery updates or delays
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
