As the Sous Chef, you will be
* Working alongside the Head Chef
* Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients to create exciting dishes with an Asian influence
* Liaising with customers to ensure the food is of a high standard
* Able to manage the running of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-3.30pm 40 hours per week
As an ideal candidate, you will be
* An experienced Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie with a proven work history ideally within B&I or corporate catering
* A strong leader with the ability to work as part of a team
* Genuinely passionate about food and ingredients with an eye for detail and presentation
* Able to think rationally and solve problems in a clear and practical manner
* Confident in communicating with customers and the client
* Able to demonstrate knowledge of current food trends and concepts
* Friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
