The Company:
A multi award-winning Field Marketing Agency are looking for an experienced Insight Manager to join them to work with their largest client, who are as a group hold some of the well-known brands in the household industry. The role can be offered on a mostly WFH basis with 1 day a week in Thame, Oxfordshire, and one fortnightly visit to the client site in Weybridge.
The Role:
The main responsibility of this role is to contribute to the achievement of commercial and business goals for your assigned retail accounts. This involves building and nurturing strong relationships with customer teams, understanding their needs, and aligning them with the team's broader objectives. Additionally, the role includes liaising with the National Field Manager and Regional Managers for Grocery & High Street to drive performance in line with field KPIs. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Goals and KPIs: Collaborate with the Customer Business Director to meet business goals and KPIs, including Return on Investment, Category Growth, and effective operational management.
- Customer Team Engagement: Gather essential information from customer teams and relay it effectively to the field team.
- Data Analysis: Utilise tools such as Viva, Field Feedback, Performance results, Power BI, and store-level EPOS data to uncover insights and provide strategic recommendations.
- Promotional Activity Review: Assess the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and identify ROI drivers to optimise future promotions and improve field performance.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports, providing key performance metrics and actionable insights.
- Field Visits: Conduct regular field visits to ensure that briefings, strategies, and directions remain relevant and effective. These visits are typically to local stores, so travel requirements are minimal.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of POS materials, sales briefs, and updates to the Field Sales team.
About You:
- Experience in field management is desirable, though not essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent skills in data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Good negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to the client office in Weybridge once a fortnight.
- Have your own vehicle.
The Package:
- This role is offered on a fixed term contract until November 2025, earliest. It could be extended a further 6 months. We are looking to get someone started mid-late February to allow sufficient time for training and handover.
- £38k plus £6k car allowance
