We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Coordinator to work on a residential construction project near Weybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an early grounding in the construction industry to further their career with a successful residential contractor.

This opportunity has been created within the technical management team of a successful main contractor which specialises in affordable housing development in partnership with local authorities and housing associations across London.
They have a proven track record of developing their staff and promoting from within making this an exciting opportunity for someone looking to move from a trainee role into a defined pathway within technical/design management.
This role will be based near Weybridge.
Description
- Assist in the coordination of construction projects from post-contract award to completion.
- Work closely with Technical Managers to ensure design information deadlines are met.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate with 3rd parties on planning conditions, statutory compliance, warranty approvals, etc.
- Oversee quality, snagging, and accurate handover as necessary.
Profile
A successful Assistant Coordinator should have:
- A degree in Construction Management, Property, Architecture/Engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience working within the construction industry, ideally in a coordination focused type of position.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach and an eagerness to learn.
Job Offer
- A salary ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 per annum.
