SRM are currently recruiting for a leading FTSE listed Real Estate business who are seeking Group Financial Analyst / Accountant to join their Plc headquarters in Surrey.

This role offers a great balance between technical and external reporting as well as significant exposure to key analytical work. You will ideally be an ACA trained at a Top 10 firm, either looking for your 1st or 2nd move post-audit.

This role offers a senior level of exposure to the Plc Board and CFO, key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of key analytical documentation (e.g. cash flow forecasting, sales analysis)
  • Forecasting of half year and year-end financial results
  • Review and preparation of analysis of competitor results and industry trends
  • Preparation of Group consolidation and detailed analysis of key components (IFRS)
  • Contribution to the Annual Report and Presentation to Analysts/Investors.
  • Monitoring disclosures and updating Group practice where required
  • Liaison with external auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Preparation of subsidiary and joint venture statutory accounts.
  • Continuing review of impact and development of international accounting standards.
  • Sales cash monitoring against forecast.
  • Impact analysis of financial/accounting effect of proposed Group projects / transactions.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA trained within a top 10 practice
  • Strong Academics
  • Strong understanding of both UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
  • Confident and at ease dealing with all levels of management within a corporate head office environment
  • Comfortable working onsite at least 3 days a week; and 4-5 days during initial learning period.
