Due to company growth, my client, a leading audio rental company are seeking a Warehouse Technician to work within their cables department.

Due to relocation the role will likely move to the Weybridge area later this year.

The successful candidate will:

Clean and prepare equipment - Test, clean, recoil, loom, and put away all cablesChecking and reporting for any damages to equipmentEnsure that equipment is correctly stored and labelledIn-service inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT)Maintenance and Repairs, Fault finding and problem solvingQuality controlStock controlForklift driving – when training providedUse of internal I.T software.What skills and experience we are looking for:

A passion for technical workUnderstanding of electrical wiring regulations - beneficialIn-service inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) – beneficialSoldering experience is a mustAbility to read electrical diagrams and schematicsComply with health and safety proceduresThe ability to work efficiently and, on occasion for extended hours and some weekendsBenefits of the role:Paid overtime23 days holiday per annum plus bank holidaysAuto-enrolment pension schemeFree parking on-site

Standard working hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday but you may need to work extendedhours and some weekends.
