We are seeking an English Lecturer to join our inclusive FE College, dedicated to lifelong learning and equipping learners with the necessary professional behaviours, skills, and values for their careers. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high standards of teaching across a range of English courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
- Create a positive and conducive learning environment for students.
- Teach on a programme of appropriate courses.
- Assess, review, and record learner progress.
- Maintain accurate course and learner records.
- Embed employment skills into the curriculum.
- Degree in a relevant area.
- Proven experience of teaching GCSE English is essential.
- Teaching qualifications, or willingness to work towards obtaining one with our support.
- Open to recent graduates and individuals seeking a career change.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
