About the role:
As an English Lecturer, you will be based on-site and required to deliver high standards of teaching while creating a positive learning environment for students studying a range of English courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching on a programme of appropriate courses
- Assessing, reviewing, and recording learner progress
- Maintaining course and learner records
- Embedding employment skills into the curriculum courses
To fulfil the role of English Lecturer, you will have:
- A degree in a relevant area
- Proven experience of teaching GCSE English (essential)
- Teaching qualifications - or be prepared to work towards this with support
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
