Are you a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Engineer with the ability to command outstanding quality and delivery to customers?  As a result of continued product diversification, major new product development projects and our on-going investment, we are seeking a driven Quality Manager to undertake a key on-going contract role within a highly innovative design, development and manufacturing organisation.

We will rely on you as Quality Manger to exploit your quality expertise to increase our quality levels and mindset across our complete value chain from Design, Purchasing / Supply Chain through to manufacture and production.  The aim being to offer our customers outstanding service and value.

As Quality Manager this will be a varied role to co-ordinate the quality offering and your key accountabilities will encompass: 

  • Working with the senior management team to develop and maintain quality strategies and policies for the business
  • Creating and maintaining the Quality Management Systems
  • Undertaking both internal audits and external supplier audits
  • Leadership of Supplier Quality Assurance activities in conjunction with purchasing
  • Playing a lead role during product development on compliance
  • Utilise your knowledge of the latest regulatory standards 
  • Drive and embed robust preventative corrective actions in response to any product returns

 To succeed in this key quality role, you will likely be educated to HND / degree level in an engineering or related discipline with a in depth background and knowledge of quality standards and systems gained within an electro-mechanical or closely related assembly production / manufacturing environment.

  • We are looking for experience of developing and improving quality systems and driving audits as an essential
  • Quality Management Systems experience including ISO9001 /AS9100 / IATF 16949 or similar
  • Certified Lead Auditor
  • Quality Systems experience and first-class leadership, communication and influencing skills are a pre-requisite.
