Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a background in the legal sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic Compliance Assistant to join their team and support their compliance efforts. If you have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and previous experience in the legal industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Framework Support: Assist the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) in maintaining and improving the firm's compliance framework.
  • File Audits & Risk Management: Conduct file audits and support risk management initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Accreditation Preparation: Support the preparation for Lexcel, ISO 9001, and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation.
  • Policy & Procedure Alignment: Ensure the firm's policies, procedures, and operational standards align with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in compliance within the legal sector is essential.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
