ROLE – Continuous Improvement EngineerLOCATION – SurreyTERM – PermanentSALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experienceI’m working with a great client of mine who specialises within the Electronics manufacturing industry and they are on the lookout for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis, in the surrey area.The Continuous Improvement Engineer will ideally have the following:
  • Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
  • Proven experience in sustaining engineering, preferably within the consumer products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CAD software (We use CREO but open to AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc..).
  • Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing and injection moulding processes, and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer role will involve:
  • Leading engineering efforts across the business, collaborating with various departments
  • Implementing any process improvements that are identified
  • Design and Documentation Management
  • Quality and Operational Support
  • Product Improvement and Cost Management
  • Working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Technical Skills and Design (CAD)
