Sous Chef - Weymouth Seafront Hotel - Live In 8pm finish Key Information:* Salary: £29,250.00* Hours 6 days on a breakfast and dinner shift rota so 07:00-11:00 and then back in for 16:00-20:00 - Great chance to enjoy your afternoons and evenings in this role!! 45 hours a week * Location: Weymouth* Live-in option is availableWe are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work in seafront hotel in Weymouth.The Hotel is very popular with coach parties and only serves breakfast and dinner.The role comes with live in accommodation so you will be living by the sea.You will work 6 days per week working breakfast and then the dinner shift, 4 hours per shift.Key Responsibilities* Provide support to cooks and service staff* Producing and serving night shift dinner for 70/80 people* Completing general preparation for the next shift* General cleaning and stocking fridges and counter shelves* Duties include pot wash and dishwasher* Set up and service on the counter* General cleaning* Customer service* Storing foodKey Responsibilities of the role include:*Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food preparation*Preparation of fresh quality dishes with good quality ingredients locally sourced.*Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.*Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen*Work alongside the kitchen teamRequired skills include:*Experience in the kitchen*Basic knowledge of food production methods*Embrace new ideas and processes*Positive and approachable mannerIn order to be successful, you'll need to have:*Experience working in a similar environment*Ability to follow instructions*High Standards of hygieneACT NOW - PRESS THE APPLY BUTTONUnfortunately, due to the large volume of applications we receive, we can only respond to applicants with relevant work experience.
