Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking for a full time & permanent Sales Executive on behalf of a highly valued client in Portland, Dorset.

Why should you be interested? Our client is offering:

  • an annual salary of £25,000 to £35,000 (£12.82 p/h to £17.95 p/h), dependant on levels of experience,salary expectations & interview performance.
  • 31 days of annual leave per year, including Bank Holidays (22+8+1).
  • a commission scheme with a two-year term. On 'activating’ a new client expect 25% commission in year 1 with 20% commission in year 2. Expect on target earnings of £7,800 in year 1 with £14,040 in year 2. Our client’s commission scheme is highly unique and rewards long service.
  • office based Monday to Friday work with an offered 37.5 hour per week contract. Expect hours of work from 09:00 to 17:30 daily with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Our client is open to reducing the lunch break, in line with your need.
  • an annual companywide bonus paying up to £2,000, subject to company performance & pro-rata considerations.

  • is an experienced Salesperson looking to develop highly productive & lucrative long-term relationships with shippers both domestic & international. Whilst putting the customer at the heart of your work, you’ll proactively drive business profitability and customer satisfaction. As per the afore-mentioned commission scheme, keeping customers happy will certainly have a financial reward! Experience working in an inhouse sales role within a major courier or experience selling services is highly desirable to our client.
  • is a driven, consultative & honest salesperson. Our client is looking for a candidate that’s interested in successfully managing all elements of the sales cycle and you can expect to:
    • identify sales opportunities & new potential customers be it by sales platform, 'door knocking’, cold calling, networking at trade shows, LinkedIn etc.
    • screen customer needs, approach customers & demonstrate software/company capabilities.
    • understand customer requirements and offer advice on suitable freight products with a view to cross & up sell, if appropriate.
    • manage customer objections & quotations/pricing.
    • close deals by signing up & 'activating’ customers.
    • earn customer loyalty via superb levels of customer care whilst working closely with our client’s Customer Care Team.
    • exceed agreed sales targets by successfully managing a sales 'pipeline’.
    • build & grow positive/efficient relationships with customers.
    • manage customer data in an efficient & compliant manner within our client’s CRM system.
  • is highly affable, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and doesn’t mind working independently. Expect to closely work with other Sales Executives and support Franchise management.
  • is system savvy and computer literate. Expect to use the MS Office Package (Word, Outlook & Excel primarily) & LinkedIn frequently alongside Pipedrive (CRM), Zint (Sales Lead software) and our client’s proprietary shipping software platform.
  • wants to learn & develop themselves.
  • is highly organised, hardworking and can work to deadline.
  • can multitask & prioritise their workload.
  • is proactive, a 'people person’ and is confident.
  • is an articulate communicator and an active listener.
  • has a UK driving licence & own vehicle. Expect to travel infrequently to sell or attend trade shows.
