About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Care Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Weymouth branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of others. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services, managing a team of care professionals, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management and leadership of the domiciliary care branch.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services that meet CQC standards.
  • Recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of care staff.
  • Budget management and financial oversight of the branch.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Managing referrals and care packages.
  • Conducting regular quality assurance audits.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma - Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of managing a CQC registered domiciliary care home.
  • Demonstrable budget management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with electronic care planning systems.
  • Knowledge of local health and social care services.
