Description
- Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, whilst completing Tax returns.
- You will also lead on small/medium sized assignments and assist on large assignments.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff.
- You'll be an important point of contact for your clients and for more junior members of the team
- Ensure all financial operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
- You'll be accountable for a portfolio of clients/jobs, managing yourself and others whilst alos being actively involved i the business development for the Weymouth office.
- Monitor departmental performance and propose improvements.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture.
Profile
A successful Assistant Manager should have:
- A strong academic background in Accounting, ACA or ACCA Qualified.
- Have a least 2/3 years post qualified practice experience.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and people management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting and finance services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
