My client provides engineering design, delivery and support solutions to clients across various sectors, such as deployable containerised systems for harsh environments. They are seeking a ProjectQuality Engineer to join their team in Dorset to deliver and maintain the Quality Management Plan, ensuring compliance to AQAP 2105 and undertake Supplier Approval Audits.Project Quality EngineerThe Project Quality Engineer will oversee all aspects of Quality operations, driving Quality performance through compliance with management systems and work with stakeholders on quality issues. You will manage and perform internal and supplier quality audit programmes, including managing corrective actions to completion, ensuring compliance with company policy, contractual and legislative requirements.   You will also undertake Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and conduct non-conformance investigations, providing detailed reports, evidence of findings etc. and will produce and maintain regular monthly analysis and reporting on supply chain quality.The role will require significant UK and overseas travel (predominantly Europe) for supplier inspections and audits and equipment acceptance inspections. To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to HND level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, ideally Mechanical.
