Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment failures using electrical drawings to minimise downtime.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, ensuring safety compliance.
- Manage stock control systems and ensure parts availability for maintenance and repairs.
- Install new equipment and replace motors or control systems as required.
- Carry out mechanical tasks, including work in confined spaces and maintaining equipment.
Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience Required
- Practical experience with electrical or industrial control systems.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Understanding of LV systems and experience using wiring diagrams.
- Strong fault-finding abilities with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work late shifts and available for emergency breakdowns.
