CNC Turner Nights

Frontline Recruitment Weymouth is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Machinist Nights to join our esteemed client in Weymouth.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes, including those with live tooling capabilities.
• Conducting self-inspections using tools like verniers, micrometers, SPGs, and PPGs.
• Performing in-process inspections to maintain total process control.
• Producing components from engineering drawings, meeting precise quality standards.
• Accurately recording and updating manufacturing process details on job cards.
• Adhering to preventative maintenance schedules for machinery.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Skills and experience required:

• A Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (including indentures).
• Familiarity with Fanuc control systems.
• Preferred experience in the aerospace industry.
• Competence in interpreting engineering drawings and following work instructions (e.g., job cards).
• Proficiency in setting up and operating various machine tools.
• Basic computer literacy.
