Page Personnel is delighted to be exclusively supporting a returning customer who we work with across the business with their recruitment of a Payroll Specialist to join their accountancy team on a temporary contract to help with ensuring their chosen payroll system is being implemented correctly, delivering & producing the reports required. This is an almost full remote job but will need sporadic travel to near Weymouth very occasionally.

Client Details

Our client, based near Weymouth, is implementing a new payroll/time & attendance system and needs support ASAP to ensure a smooth running of the system and ensuring it is being used to its full capacity. The system needs to be fully implemented by the end of October. The business itself is a very exciting, dynamic business within the FMCG industry.

Description

As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the time and attendance system is correctly linked to the payroll
  • Time and attendance system is to record hours of work only
  • Ensuring lateness is accurately recorded in the system
  • Ensuring the correct absence codes are used in the system
  • Ensuring the time and attendance system is accurately clocking in & clocking out
  • Produce reports from the system eg: absence, sickness, overtime hours
  • Set up a report to feed directly into payroll with the hours worked

Profile

In order to be considered for the Payroll Specialist role, you must:

  • Ideally have project management experience
  • Great personal / networking / relationships skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work to a pressurised timescale - the system has to be implemented in the last week in October
  • Up to 3 days a week on average working on this
  • Could be available as early as this week
  • Able to be on site in Dorset for an initial briefing day and then very adhoc attendance needed
