I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor who build medium sized projects through to some of the largest and most recognisable in the South. The company has a turnover of 650million and their name is recognised within the marketplace as delivering projects to the highest quality on time and budget.
They are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Lead to work on a 9million project near Weymouth.
POSITION: Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Lead
Suitable applicants will possess:
Confidence, self motivation and have a hands-on approach to Quantity Surveying
Good commercial awareness and willingness to be a key team member.
The ability to cope with change and develop new skills.
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
An education to a Degree standard. While a professional qualification would be an advantage, it is not essential.
A good understanding of the standard forms of Sub-contract is required.
