Supply desk are seeking a talented and dedicated KS1 primary school teacher to work 5 days per week (full time) in our outstanding school located in the Whaddon area. The school is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a proven track record of success in the classroom.  The successful candidate will need to be passionate about teaching and committed to the welfare and development. And an empowering role model who is looking to motivate and inspire young minds to ensure they are ambitious and ready for the modern world.

The physical and emotional wellbeing of the students is essential, this provides a strong foundation for positive behaviour where children are encouraged to care and be kind to one another. The Role and the Ideal Candidate: 

  • Have recent experience in teaching primary schools - KS1
  • Degree and QTS Desirable, unqualified teacher may be considered
  • Be a committed team player, working closely with heads of department to provide strategies and ideas for student development.
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students
  • Setting clear teaching objectives and measuring the best ways to deliver them to pupils.
  • Planning clear and well-structured lessons
  • Offering students help and support along with the most effective teaching possible.
  • Monitoring progress and determining how attainment levels can be raised
