Geotechnical Engineer

If you have 3 years plus experience as a geotechnical engineer within a UK consultancy, please get in touch.
We are working with a national client who has an ideal opportunity for candidates with a strong geotechnical background to work with a contractor who delivers bespoke design and build solutions.
The roles will see you:
- Inspecting rock faces, slopes and retaining walls
- Attending slope stabilisation projects to ensure construction is undertaken in accordance to design
- Undertaking detailed design of stabilisation solutions
- Using slope stability software and AutoCAD
- Preparing quotes, inspection reports and design documentation
Whilst you will be based mainly in the office, a lot of your time will be spent undertaking inspections and attending sites; a valid UK driving licence is therefore vital. You will also be required to undertake IRATA rope-access training and inspections.
