Salary - 35,000 - 42,500
AutoDesk Inventor - AutoCAD - Mechanical Design Engineer -
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of my client's state-of-the-art conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery. This role involves taking projects from initial concept through to final production, requiring creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. We pride ourselves on our bespoke machinery solutions, and you will be integral to this innovative process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery.
- Use AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD software design suites to create detailed engineering designs.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Design Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Install and maintain Autodesk software as required.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook, to manage project documentation and communication.
Requirements and Skills:
- Recognised mechanical engineering qualification such as ONC, HNC, HND, BTEC, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD design suites.
- Experience with installing and maintaining Autodesk software is advantageous.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
