Highways Planning Officer - Exciting Opportunity!
Location: Derbyshire
Rate £45/hour
Carrington West are looking to recruit an experienced Highways Planning Officer to join a forward-thinking local authority and contribute to the development of sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
·Planning Assessment: Review and assess highway planning applications to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with developers, consultants, and local communities to facilitate effective project delivery.
·Data Analysis: Utilize data to inform decision-making and provide recommendations for improvements.
·Documentation: Prepare reports and documentation to support planning processes and project proposals.
About the Role:
·Duration: Initial 3-month contract
·Working Arrangement: Remote
Qualifications and Experience:
·Relevant degree or equivalent experience in highways planning.
·Strong understanding of transportation policies and regulations.
·Excellent communication and analytical skills.
