The key responsibilities of this Supply Chain & Purchasing Lead (Derby) role are:

  • Being the first point of call in your department
  • Taking ownership of procurement and supply chain projects
  • Supervising 3 members of staff in role

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Industrial manufacturing experience (automotive, rail, aerospace)
  • Experience of working within a supply chain function and improving OTIF levels/reduction of stock plans
  • Training and Development of 2 expeditors and 1 graduate therefore previous managerial/supervisor level experience
  • Be able to implement but most importantly identify reduction of cost & improvements
  • Confidence to challenge and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • You should have MRP/ERP experience (keeping up to date and tracking KPI's)
